Listed below are three website templates for basic scouting websites, as discussed in the previous pages. Please provide suggestions for improving these templates. The instructions for editing the pages are included in the pages. These sites were created in MS FrontPage 2002., but do not require MS FrontPage extensions to function.
The use of these templates is free of cost and maybe customized in anyway to fit your Troop's, Pack's or Crew's needs. The zipped files contain all the required files. I have set up one site in under one hour.

We are also seeking other templates. If you develop one, please consider allowing scouters fo download it from this site. It would also be nice to have some flash templates. This would be an excellent ticket item for you wood badgers.

iIt often makes sense to use a pre-designed web template instead of creating a site from scratch. Using a professionally-designed template allows you to get a professional design at a fraction of the price a custom design would cost. The down side is there is a cost. Your budget will design what you can afford. Good templates are automated and have HTML tags to show you exactly where to put your text. I regularly use a template service. It is a fast method of setup a great looking site. Be carefull!!! These templates often require the use of particular software.
